Lego SW The Complete Saga was released on consoles in Nov 07.
Lego Batman was released on all platforms in Sep 08 and introduced the 'Aspect Ratio: From Screen-Res' setting which allowed for Hor+ surround.

Now Lego SW TCS for the PC does have the 'Aspect Ratio: From Screen-Res' setting... but it seems it actually forces a 16:9 FOV regardless of the resolution. :shock:

So in the end widescreen & multi-monitor support is similar to Lego SW2 (as opposed to Batman and Indy). Pity.

4:3

16:10

16:10, Aspect Ratio: From Screen-Res

16:9

faux TH, Aspect Ratio: From Screen-Res

They look hard-coded. And I mean, really hard coded.

There is a widescreen option in the config which picks between the 4(3?) but the actual values looked to be fixed in the executable.

We are talking potentially 17 different values in the process memory per aspect ratio. I can get changes but not useful ones.

I suggest you go to the official forums and bitch up a storm.

I installed LEGO Indy to compare and nothing yet but I did notice that the screen-res aspect ratio option works something like this...

(<= 4:3) = Force 4:3

(> 4:3) = Force 16:9

EDIT - It's also a crime not to own this game.
