Yes, well... that's a pretty obvious thing to do. Can you lend me some money so I can give that a try? LOL!

Has anyone else experience this problem... with or without using the same monitor model?

Thanks to all of you who have contributed to this fix / work-around. Bravo!

I read through all the posts in this thread, looking for a solution to one remaining problem I am having. When attempting to set up Bezel Management, my 3rd monitor (right most) will go "black/blank" and display the OCD message "No Signal", when I try going passed "60 pixels". If I return the setting to "60 pixels" (or less), every thing is OK. The 1st monitor (left most) works as it should. The 2nd monitor (middle) is uneffected.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

BTW, here is my setup.

Newest Beta drivers from Nvidia - 267.24 (win7 64bit)
Newest firmware from Matrox - 2.3.50 (table 6.61)
GMX software - 2.06

NOTE TO ALL... GMX software version 2.07 will NOT work for me. Let me be more specific. I can get the 5040 x 1050 to work by setting it through Nvidia Control Panel only, neither Windows nor GMX software see it.

I7 920@4.00
MSI x58 Pro E
OZC Obsidean Triple Channel (3 x 2 GB) 6 GB (7,7,7)
eVGA 8800GTX ( I just ordered a Gigabyte GTX560 Ti SOC - 1000, 4500)
On Matrox DTH2G - 3 x 22" Monitors - (Left) ACER AL2216W (Middle) ACER X223W (Right) ACER ACER AL2216W
1 x 22" Monitor on second DVI connector (Top Middle) ACER AL2223W

Thanks again! :rockout

Murray

Ok so, I have got the 5040 res working but it will not show up in either the GXM or the Powerdesk software. It remains at (1280x 1024 x3). I have to go in to the Nvidia control panel and make the custom res everytime I switch res's back to a single monitor (for non supported games) then I cannot switch back to 5040x1050 no matter what I do. I see it in the Nvidia control panel but if I select it it just flashes my screen and then reverts back to the previous res. It still doesnt show up in any Matrox software. But if I go back into the nvidia software I have to re input the settings for the custom res, test it, and it will take. Its a huge bummer that I cant just Save it somewhere and swap to it when I need to, as that 5040 res is perfect.

Can anyone help me figure out how to get the Matrox stuff to see the 5040x1050 res??? Other than that this thing is working out great. Just the res switching is killing me.
