Am in the beta and can confirm the game does not support surround or any other ultrawide screen modes. I can use my triplehead in it's native resolution, but it column-boxes the screen past 16x9.

Did anyone really expect it to be different?

Not really, but for a few hours it seemed there might have been a glimmer of hope. :(

This relegates SC2 to my "may buy it sometime in the next few decades" category.

Yeah, I don't get it.. you get Hor+ on 16:9 over 16:10 and Hor+ on that over 4:3. So why not Hor+ on 3xA:B , it's completely inconsistent.

Since no one has mentioned it yet keep in mind there is already a zoom hack, so in terms of single player ultrawide SC2 is already "solved". Just remember that for every SCV you make with a zoom-hack a Blizzard artist loses it's wings.

Big freaken whoop. Those lazy ass artists spent 10 years making units that look like matel toys.

It is nice that ultrawide works in SP though, pretty much the only reason I'll play it for. Beta bored me to tears.
